2020 was a year outside the norm with many new challenges. At the same time, it was a year of opportunities with exciting orders and projects. Even in times of Corona we have neither lost our team spirit nor the passion for the steam turbine!

The first M+M turbine was delivered to the Ukraine this year, in whose competition we were able to prevail against 20 competitors. For the new year we aim to further expand our portfolio in terms of application area diversity. Keywords such as sewage sludge recycling or geothermal energy are just a few of many that we will encounter in 2021.

Internally we have striven to expand the sustainability aspect through small but constant steps in order to contribute to an environmentally friendly future. Thanks to clearly defined environmental goals and optimal use of sustainable resources, we have received the ISO 14001 certification for environmental management in March 2020, as well as the ISO 9001 certification for quality management.

Furthermore 2020 was a special year because we were able to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Even if the big party had to be cancelled, our anniversary barbecue in September with all of our employees was just as pleasant and festive.

In order to sweeten the run-up to Christmas for our colleagues and employees, for the first time in M + M history, instead of the beloved Christmas party, we put together an Advent calendar with surprise gifts. In addition, we would like to make a donation to two aid organizations this year, replacing physical Christmas cards. The association Schutzengel e.V. and the fruit alarm project shall benefit from this. Of course, there are still digital postcards!

All in all, 2020 was an exciting and eventful year. We are humbled and grateful and look forward to 2021 with many new and exciting projects.
