Wednesday, the 22nd of January, a steam turbine of 35 tonnes plus a generator of 28 tonnes left our halls towards its new location in Bochum. Thanks to a perfect coordination and organisation the transport has been successful. Therefore the new steam turbine, with an electrical power of 11.9 MW, could be delivered to the heating and power station Hiltrop that belongs to the Stadtwerke Bochum. The overall facility includes a gas and steam power station for power generation and district heating. The electric power amounts 44 MW. The planned commissioning is scheduled for august 2014.
